(no subject)
Mariya left for college today. Saint Louis School of Pharmacy--hard as fuck college to get into. I spent last night and this morning with her to see her off properly, and it pretty well just now hit me how much I'll miss her. She's been as good a friend to me as anybody could possibly be, and more. It's a bit sad to see her go, but she'll be back for holidays and such. Congrats! You're on your way toward becoming, well, way more successful than I'll ever be. =P I love you--you better keep in touch! ^_~
Bastognes Best had two shows last night, and from what I've heard, the first one kinda sucked just 'cause it was short notice and nobody showed up, but their basement show rocked. They released some demo songs on their MySpace which is Myspace.com/bastognesbest if anybody wants to check them out--I recommend it. =]
--About them, so people will stop asking..yes, I did leave the band, but on totally good terms. [In fact I've hung out with Chuck a few times since I left] It was stressful for me, and I knew that I wouldn't be able to keep up once school started. They've picked up a new saxophone player, and acquired a flute player, and they're still rocking--so you guys better get used to 'em, 'cause they're here to stay. =)
In the meantime, I plan on using my next paycheck to go to Bloomington. I haven't seen Cody in awhile...and Drew isn't very pleasant when he goes long periods without seeing Cody. ^_~
