I believe I actually might see where I'm going with my schooling... kinda like the light at the end of the tunnel but I get to choose how it ends.... can't say that I ever really made that a goal so far.
People seem to listen when I talk... or I'm just more gullible... but its interesting how/when/where that's happening.
Reading suggestion:
It's Not Easy Bein' Me: A Lifetime of No Respect But Plenty of Sex and Drugs
By Rodney Dangerfield
A real classy kinda book.
Here's a good question following the saying "with great power comes great responsibility".
Are those w/o great power not responsible? Are they more responsible for themselves or the "greater good"? Are those with great power not responsible for themselves so much as they are for society? The classification of having "great power", isn't that just a tag that means this person is better suited to responsibility of society than the regular Joe/Jane? Is it a role thing? Are people all responsible but since we're all selfish we end up truly responsible for ourselves but when we want to "get ahead" within our environment are we taking up that "responsibility for society" mantle based on the assumption that helping others helps ourselves even more?
