Let's do a quick recap:
"On the women's side, watch for UConn to dominate. They've only got three real challenges in the tourney this year: Duke, Villanova (the only team to beat them in 72 games), and Tennessee. And Duke and Villanova will face each other if they make it to the regional semis."
So what really happened here? Tennessee faced Villanova in the Mideast Regional Finals and won 73-49. So Duke and Villanova didn't exactly meet in the regional semis -- because I misread my bracket. But... Tennessee and Duke met in the Final Four, with Tennessee winning 66-56. Which left Tennessee to face UConn... who dominated 73-68.
We've got the men's national champs in Syracuse, which wasn't supposed to have a chance, and the women's national champs in UConn, which wasn't supposed to have a hitch. So 1 of 2 ain't too bad. ^_^
I have quite a bit to do. I've still got a few hours left in the day. ^_^
