happy birthday dad
well my dad just got a damn good birthday present if you ask me...a 12-7 win over texas. WHOOP! i'm sorry guys, but i think we deserved every bit of that. texas has now suffered two upsets in a row. now, in their defense, we just suffered two one-point losses in a row before this game, so we know exactly how it feels, and it sucks.
on another note, no texas fan will probably believe me on this, but i actually feel extremely sorry for colt mccoy. this kid is really good, and he looks like he's in bad shape right now. i actually hope OU loses tomorrow cuz i'd honestly rather see texas in the big 12 championship than them, i just don't know if he's gonna be healthy in time for that game (another thing none of y'all will believe and will probably criticize me for. but i could care less cuz i have more respect for texas than i do schools like OU and tech). oh, and another thing texas fans will probably bitch about if they watched the game...heard nailing mccoy after the play was over (this was on colt's last INT). you know what? i'm glad heard got ejected, cuz that's dirty and uncalled for.
all in all a great game, but the ags topped a team who just couldn't get it done today. now if y'all will excuse me, i have a bottle of champagne to drink. whoop!
EDIT: on another good note, the astros today signed carlos lee for a 6-year, $100 million deal along with RHP woody williams for a 2-year, $12.5 million deal (with a third year option). YESSS.
