on a lighter note...
so last night i played a crazy game of mario party 7 with nancy and travis. i was doing well at first, but then i lost a star or two and was falling behind. fortunately, on the second to last turn i got barely enough spaces to get a star and get back into the competition (i was even losing to the CPU). on the last turn, not to mention the last ROLL, nancy rolled and landed on a baby bowser space. he decided to split the coins evenly. this made us all tied for 1st, so it came down to the last mini-game. i think it was a team one, with me teamed up with dipshit (the CPU). needless to say, nancy and travis won that one together, which meant after that they were tied for 1st and me and the CPU were tied for 3rd. it then came down to bonus stars. and well, wouldn't you believe it, but nancy and travis tied on that too! so then they had a tie for the superstar, and the game's method for solving this was just a roll of the dice (just like in the game). travis got an 8 and nancy got a 3, so he finally won. it was ridiculous.
then me, travis and chris played tonight. we played the level where everyone starts with 5 stars and you have to buy chain chomps and try and run over people to steal their stars to win. i ran over enough people to get 8 stars (even after losing a couple) and then i won a bonus star, which made me the winner which was cool cuz i swear to god i've never won in that crazy game before. i know this is a stupid reason to post but i just thought it was funny.
travis showed me this HILARIOUS website earlier and i think a lot of y'all will appreciate it. it's this group of guys that do a lot of stupid video game related stuff, but their highlight is definitely their real-life versions of video games. some of y'all might've seen the tetris or paperboy ones before on other websites, but there are even BETTER ones, like that game ICO for PS2 (that one is HILARIOUS) or res evil 4 (they make fun of some annoying merchant guy). i definitely think y'all should go check em all out. there's only like 6 or 7 of em and they're only like 2 minutes each. plus they're funny and may bring back some good memories. here's the link: http://www.mega64.com/
also on another good note, i talked to this gorgeous girl in my french class today. oh man. i don't even know what to say about her. she's so good looking it's not even fair. and she seems really cool too, so we'll see.
