Update on Mirax80
The lovely mirax80 should be heading *home* later today. Here's the update from her other half:
I have good news to report on Nyree. Her Lipase count went down over the weekend. Sat. it was 1,800 and yesterday it was 600. So yesterday she had her gall bladder removed via Laprosectomy (sp) which means she has only 5 band-aids for scars. She is doing good and is resting at the hospital. They decided to keep her overnight and if everything goes well, she’ll be staying at her sister’s recovering for the next few days.
Again I want to thank everyone for your love and support. I told Nyree she has a lot of fans and that made her day!!!!
So, thanks to everyone for those healing thoughts and thankfully our girl is on the mend!
ETA: A new update
Just when you think they’re going to let her go…
Nope, looks like the idiots at the hospital are keeping her one more day. She’s still got a fever of 98.9 (wow) and I guess her lungs aren’t filling as much as they’d like. I’ll keep you posted.
She might get out tomorrow, maybe.
