Safe Delivery/Arrival
I safely dropped my precious cargo in Santa Fe at about 12:45AM. Since we didn't leave Denver until almost 7PM, had to stop in Castle Rock for the sister's in-laws, got caught behind a nasty accident on I-25, and dealt with a nasty crosswind all the way through NM... I think we made awesome time!
So, I changed vehicles in Santa Fe and drove the rest of the way to ABQ by 2AM (got stalled in Santa Fe when the Lucky Boy woke up and needed Aunt Jenn to explain something to him before she was allowed to leave). Now, I sit comfortably in the ABQ Radisson waiting for the road trip adrenaline to wear off before drifting off to sleep. And YAY!!! to the Radisson for AWESOME Wi-Fi in NM. :D BIL says it was some kind of mission in NM to provide quality wi-fi all over the place. I can get behind a mission like that. :D
I plan to sleep as late as I want. Roll out of bed around the crack of noon and go find something to eat. And after 4:30 I'm going to hang out with another geek friend so we can laugh ourselves silly and blow off some serious steam. The 6+ hours of driving each way might be hard, but the rest of the weekend is total cake for me.
