1.She knew that it was cruel to twist the knife a little more, but Sofia thought it was important that they stood on level ground, if she had any hopes of resolving the incredibly tense situation.
2. "Look Sheriff, I realize you want this thing handled quickly and quietly, but until you can teach your people not to gun down unarmed civilians in the middle of the Fremont District with fifty cameras and a thousand witnesses, no autopsy report on the planet is going to give you what you need."
3. His heart was beginning to pound within his chest in a way no regular nemesis could incite, but thinking about her in that dress was certainly giving his vigilantly manicured self-control a serious workout.
