Happy Thing Meme - Day 2
I have to post this now, because later I will be dealing with the Wrath of Mom! (Moooooooooo-ooooooom!!!!!!)
Day 2
So, some friends of mine were getting a used HD Big Screen TV from some other friends, who just upgraded their Big Screen. Which means that their older model Big Screen Projection TV needed to go. They've been dealing with unemployment issues and the normal slow economy woes, so they are very strapped for cash. A deal was struck, and today they are going to deliver the TV to the house.
My brother is carefully packing up the 12M knick-knacks my mother has surrounding the 27" TV currently residing in their living room. And moving the books and such to a new shelf. When they get home tonight, a 55" TV and JVC surround sound system (which I got earlier) will be in their place. Dad is getting SERIOUSLY spoiled for Father's Day this year.
Neither of my parents like to wear their glasses all the time, and they are constantly asking, "What did that say?" when watching TV. NO MORE!
Now, I will have to deal with my mother being less than pleased about her 20+ year old entertainment center shelves being put out to pasture...but it's a small price to pay. :D She'll get over it the next time she sits down to watch a hockey game and will actually know where the puck is. LOL
Spoiling my parents makes me VERY happy.
