Productive...?

Today I was on the ball. It started with me taking care of my financial aid situation for next semester so that my parents don't have to take out any money. I took her to the mall so that she could try to take care of Cingular business, as her car was not functioning. When I get home from work I found my new N75 valve for my car had arrived and immediately grabbed the tools. VW has this thing with putting tamperproof clamps, leaving me to have to tamper the hell out of them with pliers to remove them. I replace them with screwdriver adjustable clamps for later ease and because once removed the original ones are mangled and useless. While replacing the valve I dropped my pliers into the engine bay.....and cursed. She called and inspired me (without directly doing so) to simply remove my airbox instead of jacking up the car. Once removed I threw the pliers on the ground in a very dismissive manner, telling them that they would never again fall under my good graces.

With the new valve installed my boost problem was fixed.

She called and asked me to go pick up some parts for her car and being the awesome boyfriend I am I creatively wandered to O'Reillys. On the way back I figured I would just install the parts myself to save time later that night. So I install her starter relay first........and nothing. I am ready to call the operation off until tomorrow but I decided to at least look at her starter so I crawl under the truck. Now I am no expert on Ford engines but common sense would dictate that what I saw precariously hanging there and swinging in the breeze was in fact her starter. The mount that held it on was only attached by one bolt (it has two mount points) and it seems like the stress on the mount caused the metal to cleanly snap around the bolt. Sure enough I grab the new starter (the damn thing was heavy too) and spend the next hour underneath her car removing the old one and remounting the new one. The old starter was probably good but the metal mount is one piece and can't be replaced, but either way the truck now starts with a new starter relay and starter care of my newly acquired mechanical skills.

The apartment layout totals at 687 sq. ft and looks like..
