So I finally managed to join the 21st century last summer when I got what I lovingly refer to as a "dumb phone". It's a good phone, I can do some trolling on the internet, although there are lots of things I cannot do. I've started to look at the Android phones, but have been unsure if I want to a: spend the money, and b: then pay extra per month.
This week, though, Target has an Android phone on sale for $150. Yes, it's with 2 year contract, etc, which I totally am fine with. I need to contact T-Mobile to see if it would change the plan I have or not (the website reads in such a way that I may not need to - we'll see how that works out).
So is it worth upgrading? I mean, really really worth upgrading. I'd miss my pull out real keyboard, that's for darn sure. I certainly could do more with the internet, which would be cool. Android Apps = way cool, although I doubt I'd ever own Angry Birds.
ETA: So in checking with T-Mobile, turns out it would run me about $30/month more to do this. Unless, of course, I want to buy the phone at regular price. Gee, thanks, but no. So for now, I think the Android stays at the store.
