Of Cabbage and Kings, and Health and Things
Someday I may write about non-medical related things, but not today.
My father has been on estrogen therapy for prostate cancer for 3 years. It's been doing very well, but they found out a couple of months ago that it's moved into his bladder. He had his first round of chemo 3 weeks ago, and while he didn't eat much for a week after, other than that he did great. Round two was today....and within 5 minutes he was full-on anaphalactic. The got him pumped full of anahistamines, and whatnot, and he's spending the night in the hospital, but he's doing okay. I went out there to see him, and he was laughing about stuff, acting like my dad. Holy shit did all of this scare the crap out of me.
Add to this that I already have all of the symptoms of my polyps being back.... *sigh* I'm done. This year is fired.
