Ok, so this is the food menu of what I ate yesterday during my "Lose Weight Project." I am now currently up to date with my diet blog entries. So yesterday I weighed myself and I had lost 3 pounds!!! Yey!! That was like I was losing a pound aday. I would lose even more pounds, if I exercised. According to Dr. Ian's diet, you are suppose to exercise 30 minutes a day. So I am already failing at that. But I vow that starting today I will exercise 30 minutes a day, and I will be re-joining my morning walking group on Monday (I've been so busy looking for a job this week that I have miss a week of walking with my morning walking group, so I know they miss me
...-_-...). So as of yesterday I weighed 177 pounds (wait until I post my blog of today, because I have lost even more pounds since yesterday ^_^). So that's 3 pounds down. I know I probably won't ever weigh 130 pounds again, but I guess a ideal goal would be to weigh 150 pounds by March 2010. If I weigh less than that by then, I will be even happier. But I really want to get to what I weighed before I got pregnant. Well here's what I ate yesterday.
**************DAY 3 DIET FOOD MENU***********
BREAKFAST - 1 banana (my last banana O_O).
BRUNCH SNACK - Nothing (out on another interview.....and it was a waste of time ..-_-..)
LUNCH - 1 pack Nature Valley Oats 'N Honey Granola Bar (2 in a pack) (was on my way home).
MID DAY SNACK - White grapes
DINNER - 1Smart Cutlets Chick'n Fillet Style, spices, green beans, half a pomegranate, nature vally granola bar, and pineapple chucks.
********NO MEAT ALLOWED. I ATE A VEGGIE PROTEIN CHICKEN FILLET!!!
***************My Daily Weakness Story
So for dinner I asked my husband if he had anything in mind for dinner or if he wanted me to pick something out for him to eat. He told me he wanted something simple and fast. He said he wanted pizza from the freezer. So after his food was done cooking, the pepperoni on the pizza was slizzing and smelled really good. I wanted to pluck one off his pizza. Before my diet, slim jims, pepperoni, and any kind of meat snacks was a weakness of mine. Looking at my husbands pepperoni pizza reminded of what I use to eat. What over can that weekness last night was waiting to tatse a veggie chicken fillet for the first time. Andlet me tell you, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!!! The veggie chicken fillet tasted just like a REAL chicken fillet, I couldn't taste the difference. I had once in the past had meatless ground beef and it was horrible. I seasoned the fillet with old bay and my green beans with Mrs. Dash. One thing I did fail at was eating an extra pack of Nature Valley granola bar. Only 1 fat free granola bar is allowed during the first 9 days, and since the granola bar is only oats and honey and not of a low fat chocolate chip or peanut butter granola bar, I usually get away with eating a pack (which has 2 bars) instead of 1 fat free bar. So after I ate the second pack of nature valley granola bar, I felt bad that it didn't fill me up like I thought and just decided to eat some pineapples too. So to make this long story short, family members can be a weakness. But if you have alternative foods to eat, that are just as good as what your family members eat, can help you stick to your diet plan without ruining it ^_^ .
