(no subject)
For anyone who hasn't figured it out from my not-so-cryptic facebook things, I'm no longer in grad school. It was just getting stupid and other things. Although I miss everyone a lot, it's sad not having friends. Well, okay, not EVERYONE. But a lot of people.
In other news, I have no job. Which is bothering me less than I thought it would, but still. I'd like to be making some money. Damn economy.
Other things are going well, except for the fact that I can't sleep. Yes, I am really making this post at 5am, because I haven't gone to bed yet. This means I get to watch Today in LA, and find out about a 12 cent/gallon gas tax increase in California. Yay California economy being EXTRA BAD. Also at 5 am there are already taffic jams on the freeways.
This is a complainy post, but I'm actually doing really well. I miss everyone so much, but Max and I love California, even though the weather has been letting us down a bit lately. Loki is still the best cat ever. We have some hilarious new pictures of him being adorable, and I will attempt to transfer them onto the computer and regale you all with the awesomeness of my cat. I've finally gotten him to sit next to the laptop instead of on it, by putting his favorite blanket next to the computer. This way, when he tries to walk on the keyboard I just put him on the blanket and he gets distracted by that and sits down. Of course, now that I wrote this he'll probably never do it again, as he's a cat and they exist to be contrary.
Yes, I really am the crazy cat lady.
Anyway, all is well and I miss everyone tons.
