OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK! I KNOW! It's been awhile. Fuck, man, I can't keep up with this go-go New England pace anymore, especially not while I'm still rocking dial-up down in the boondocks. I guess... I'm alright. Right now. Things are cool.
OK! In summary, E is at school now and I see her pretty much every weekend. She had a role in the V-logues, and this impressed the hell out of me since the E I've known is primarily not stage-dwelling. She's sick of the cold already (no surprise there), and I am too (but we all knew that). I'm of the opinion, though, that wild and crazy kids like us need to be far from Hawai`i for now to add a little bittersweet melancholy into delicate fermentation of our souls.
Heh.
OK! The Emergenza show was, for the most part, a major stressfest that probably shouldn't have happened. It comes down to this: they screwed us over by putting us on last, and we got angry about it. Needless to say we didn't win. Oh well. The people who stayed for us loved us, and we made a few good contacts out of the deal. Other shows have been up and down, but we're looking forward to our next gig at Milly's on March 25th. ALL UP-TO-DATE SHOW INFO IS NOW ON THE MYSPACE (www.myspace.com/lfi). It's accompanied by a nifty show blog that I update after every show. Our website team is currently on strike until the site gets moved to another host, so don't look for updates there right now. More on that as it develops.
FUCK! OK! Work is fine. It's an easy job that I'm good at. Saw NOFX last weekend, which was rad because they played "The Decline." E and I are planning a trip to Maine next weekend, and we're going to see The Gathering on the 20th. We're also working on a trip to the west coast for late summer for E's sister's wedding. The band is trying to plan out some summer tour, and we're always booking more and more shows. Hopefully more in Boston soon.
OK! Observations (then I gotta go):
-Happy Birthday Old Man & L-Type.
-I want to buy a new computer very soon. Moneymoneymoneymoneymoneymoney.
-I'm not even going to bother with some political rant right now. Fish in a barrel.
