Nitpicky Mod Reminder Post
Hey! Losers!
This is just a nitpicky reminder post.
Part of the reason for this comm is that we’re all looking for more, longer Losers fic. When I’m reading a story though and I come across numerous, continuous grammatical and/or spelling errors, it takes me out of the story and I can’t continue reading. It also ruins my enjoyment of a well-crafted plot. So please take advantage of the people who’ve offered to beta before posting your stories, we will remove stories posted to the comm if we notice major issues. I’ve taken a look at a lot of you in the last few days/weeks and I don’t think it’s going to be a major issue, but don’t rush stories either to get them onto the comm. There are no due dates for the stories.
If you need beta help, please check the Help Me Please . We have a ton of fabulous people who have offered up their services as betas (and with translations and artwork) but if you really, really can't find anyone to beta your fic, alocine_89 will beta it for you. Just PM her.
In addition, I’ve noticed a couple of stories lately that have our boys as Marines. Um, no. Just no. The Losers are Special Ops ARMY. If you need help with things, there are plenty of people who can and will help you. In addition (although I normally don’t recommend Wikipedia as a source) there is a decent Wiki article with information (including full names and ranks) here if you need more information.
