Laughmaker~
I'm back from Disney. :D
We went with my sister, because she was dancing there. There was a tour guide set up for the kids, but the adults barely saw her ever. She was...really terrible. She made a lot of promises that weren't kept. :/ The other bad thing about it all was that my sister was in workshops half of the time, so we actually didn't get very much time in the parks. :c
But now that my bitching's done~ I had an awesome time! /o/ The first day we went and checked out the area of the Magic Kindom that Jodie was to perform in, Galaxy Palace Theatre or something like that. It was in Tomorrowland. Space Mountain broke down, so we went on the Astro Orbiter...that was a long line for a 30 second ride! Then, let's see...I think we rode Carousel of Progress. That was....interesting. Disney has cool imagineer stuff. +_+ After that we rode the little monorail thing around Tomorrowland, which was much better than we thought it would be. And then Space Mountain opened back up and the line was only 50 minutes. But man...that is a LONG line. Like PAINFUL long. But that's okay because the ride itself was awesome. +_+
After that though, we had to leave, because Mrs. Legion wanted all of the dance girls to meet back at the hotel at nine. :c And that was our only day in the Magic Kingdom. That was kind of upsetting. It was one of the parks I was most looking forward to. :/ But it's okay. /o/
The next day we ran back for Jodie's performance. She did a great job! But we couldn't stay in the park because we had to go and meet her back at the hotel. They decided to go to Hollywood Studios, but I went to Epcot to go meet Kelly [magicnme]. I got there a couple of hours early so I checked out...anything that looked like it didn't have a huge line, really. I didn't want to be on a ride when she showed up, because apparently my phone has no bars in any of the ride buildings. XD; So I checked out all of the little buildings around Spaceship: Earth (which apparently had a shorter line than I thought). I walked through Innoventions and then when I was heading to the Nemo stuff it started POURING so I ran back. And then I rn through the rain to search the giftshop for an umbrella and came up empty handed. Then I...I think I rode the Imagination ride next, the one with Figment the dragon, because it said it was only a five minute wait. That was cooler than I thought it would be. XD; I had fun.
After that I started moving over to World Showcase and KELLY SHOWED UP YAAAAY. And I learned that apparently THERE IS ANOTHER ENTRANCE IN WORLD SHOWCASE. I had no idea. I had stayed in Future World because I assumed that was the only entrance and I didn't want to be in like, Japan when she showed up on the other side. XD;; But yeah, MEETING KELLY WAS SO MUCH FUN. Her family had an extra fast pass for Soarin', so I went on that with them. I loved that ride. +_+ Which is funny because I don't do well at all with normal gliders like that. After that we split from her family and went on this fun little dorky agriculture ride that kept getting stuck every five minutes. XD; It was fun though! And then we headed over to the Nemo ride and went on that. Omigosh Nemoooo +o+. Spaceship: Earth was next, and we talked about all kinds of inappropriate things in line, like vibrating fingers and chest grills for our mirror characters. XDD;;; The ride itself was fun though. WE SAW GREECE IN THERE, KURA. And Rome burning is an icky smell. XP WE MADE OUR OWN FUTURE TOO. Ahhhh they used my picture for it. |D; It was so great though. So much fun. +_+
We went to World Showcase after that, and started on the Mexico side. We went the the Mexico ride, and that was lots so fun. +_+ I remembered that movie from when I was little, The Three Caba...Caballeros? Is that how you spell it? I liked that movie when I was little. X3 We went to Norway after that, and by then it was raining again. XD; We went on the Norway ride and skipped the movie after. I kind of wish the other world showcases had rides. |D; I think China was next and we ate supper there and I had a water bottle spill in my cloth bag, but it was all good. ...Turns out though that My sunscreen spilled in there too, because when I got back everything was sticky too. XD; When we got out of dinner though they were like "ILLUMINATIONS STARTS IN A HALF HOUR." and we were like "OH SNAP." so we booked it over to Japan for a few minutes so we could take this picture for Linda and goof on the massagers that look like they belong in M!Vexen's lab.
Then after much confusion on where to stand, we watched IllumiNations in the rain and it was SO GREAT OH MY GOD. +_+ Excellent show excellent music, it was so cool. +____+ Then we hung around Canada waiting for her mom to come back and took more pictures. But then we said our goodbyes and cried for years and years and years except not really.
The next day Jodie had a workshop and then we had to go to Downtown Disney for supper. Before that though, I ran back to Epcot and bought things in Japan. +_+ I WAS SO NINJA I WAS IN AND OUT IN LIKE FIVE MINUTES. I wasn't sure I'd have enough time. |D; Downtown Disney was kind of cool, but we didn't have a long time there either. We ate at Planet Hollywood, but it was so crowded and so...not worth it. |D; BUT WE SAW LA NOUBA and that was really cool. +_+ I liked the tightrope walkers and the trapeze artists best. Is it bad I want to write circus AU fic? I might do it for the KuroganeFai contest... After that we had to go because Jodie had another workshop in the morning and she was dead tired.
After her workshop, and all kinds of BS about checking out of our hotel, we went to Animal Kingdom and went on a few things. We didn't have a whole lot of time there though. We went on Kali River Rapids and I guess I had a bad seat with my dad because everyone got soaked but us. XD; We ate at Rainforest Cafe, and that was REALLY good, even if the wait was long and it was cold in the restaurant. Then we went back and saw the A Bug's Life show, but by the time we got out it was almost time to go so we hit some giftshops and left to take the bus to the airport.
Sorry I don't have more pictures. |D; Not only am I bad with that, but apparently my camera broke after Day 2. Oops? My mom promised Jodie we would go back though...so I might get to go back? Yay! I have no idea when on Earth we would though...we don't exactly have the money for these things...I 'll try not to think about that though.
