This whole "eBay" thing.. what a scam.
It's like an abusive partner. You think everything is going along smoothly and everything is perfect and fine and you're having a delightful walk knowing that you're on top of things. Then... suddenly, when you least expect it. MWAHAHAHA, it pushes you down, you're face first in the dirt with a large red X in both of your eyes: "You've been outbid by another bidder!" But, but! I thought we had a good thing going?
NO, not anymore!! I like to sleep around, kid.
And then... You come up with a brilliant plan. Tack $10.50 to the highest bidder's price. What's that? We're friends again! Oh eBay, you flatter me so! Suddenly everything is great. Your auction has but a mere 10 minutes before it ends, how in the world could somebody beat your price, why would they even DARE bother? They wouldn't.
Or would they?
The clock counts down the seconds, 5...4...3... You're still winning. You sit back and crack your knuckles and say "ohh, aren't I good." And then... 2... 1... All is lost. You did not win this item. You are.. a LOSER.
Damn. Foiled AGAIN.
But on the other hand, I bought a new tshirt today and some penguin Vans, FINALLY. Finally finally. Yesss. Those were not eBay items... I suppose that is why I am so thrilled with those two purchases.
