yesterday was funnyyyyy
earlier on in the week, i'd been invited to band practice down the block. but since they were recording, they didn't want me to go until they were finished. and then they ended up just coming to my house anyway. so not exactly what i'd planned, especially after theresa and dad were cleaning the house and all, but thankfully, my basement is not a complete trainwreck.
by they, i meant nick, and marc rizzi, who i'd only met once. but marc's a pretty chill kid. court and nikki were here too. well obviously since court lives here and nikki practically does too. but court was planning to go to port jeff to hang with her friends, but those plans fell through. so the five of us hung out for a while, with taylor hanging out too and verbally stating how much she hated nick, which was pretty insane.
then, court and nikki went to mama sbarros to get pizza while the rest of us stayed behind. that time mainly consisted of ping pong, the need for DDR and The Warriors, and throwing puzzle pieces across the room. which i am still finding everywhere. marc expressed his hatred for his ex-girlfriend while nick tried to get the approval of a 3 year old. thankfully, that worked well for taylor with some super harry potter conversations. haha.
court and nikki came back and we hung out some more. and then, we got a call from our uncle, who'd been trying to contact us for the past few days. me and court automatically panicked, but thankfully, everything is okay. he just wanted to get everyone together to talk about........stuff. so we'll see how that goes later on tonight.
later, nick and marc left. i got to clean up the puzzle pieces scattered all over my basement. joyyyyy. and then we had chinese food and watched the sisterhood of the traveling pants. my dad and theresa, who'd heard it twice in the car but never actually watched it, kept asking questions about it. actually, no. my dad kept asking questions about it. theresa seemed to know everything about it already. but still. it made me laugh a bit.
so yesterday was pretty gosh darn fun if i do say so myself. and i have declared that pink triangle has got to be the most amazing song ever. just because weezer is amazing like that. is it bad that rivers' heartbreak makes me laugh in this song? no? okay.
