Job Opportunity
So when I got home from work I was burnt out so I decided to go out on my doorstep and play guitar. As I was finishing up something I just made up my neighbor across the street comes up to me. I greet him and he asks if I was playing an original and I just shrugged and said "sort of".
Well I found out that he played guitar and I gave him some ska so he'd know what I like to listen to. He said he was in a band and he played drums for it. Apparently he plays in a classical rock band and they are looking for a guy to mix sound for them. After I told him I had four years experience mixing technical theater he offered me the job! So as soon as I give him a good recommendation for speakers and a board I can start.
He has covered stuff like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd and Rush. I just have to check to see where they would play and when. I can't think of anything better that I would want to do.
Maybe today isn't so bad after all
