Medicine and the wonders of the human body is nice and all, but there's something... awesome? alluring? amazing?... about how a person thinks, feels, behaves. Psychiatry is nice, but it's a whole different field. Family Medicine might be a closer relative, with all the dealing with the family and personal problems and all.
There's nothing quite like finally understanding someone, the joy of connecting the dots and finally getting it.
