HAPPY BIRTHDAY STACIE
this goes out to my gurly stacie because u know wut?? TODAY is her birthday. stacie is 20 today and stacie is wonderful. she is my telepathic friend - if u dont believe me, well thats just too darn bad because stacie and i finish each others sentences...all the time. it is so great to know that i have a twin out there...someone who can read my mind...someone who can answer me before i ask the question...someone who knows i am having a good or bad day without even talking to me that day...someone who can give me advice anytime of anyday..someone who can help me with my problems and even get frustrated with the exact same things i do just because we feel the same on so many different levels...someone who can help make my walk with God so much stronger...someone who will love me unconditionally no matter what...someone who can look at all my faults and still love me just the same...and most of all....someone who will always be there...someone whos friendship will never fade and will alwayz be there even if we havent talked in days, months, or years. the love and friendship will be just as strong as it was on the first day. stacie i love you so much and u will always have that special place in my heart. u seriously are my one and only my reader and i wouldnt change one darn thing about that. i love our friendship and the times we've had together - we've had so many memories and so many more to make! u are great and deserve the best birthday there could possibly be. i love you stac and happy birthday! =)

then i brought my monitor home and went back to town and went to svsu to hang out w/stacie and colie and amy and sarah and best of all, guess who stacie brought down?! NATE!! my boyfriend!! oh how i miss that kid lol..but he did talk to me on the phone when i was in hawaii so that was really exciting!! =) but yeah when i showed up tonite, he came running to me and gave me a huge hug. ahh hes so great!! but anyways so we ended up playing this really fun card game - nerts. i won the first game but only b/c i counted all my points wrong so thats the only reason i won..but the funny thing is we didnt realize that until half way thru the SECOND game. lol it was hilarious. but anyways i ended up winning the second game too haha. then we also played scattegories. we baked confetti cake and had hot dogs and rice pilof for dinner. it was a very fun nite!! now its time for bed b/c its my first day back to kohls tomorrow and i open..yippy! oh yeah, they were sposed to have the street fest at svsu tonite but since it was crappy weather they postponed it to tomorrow, which i will be working. oh well. i do need to go on campus tomorrow after work so i can figure out where all my classes are. k now its time for bed..i cant sleep in tomorrow!! WAHH!
08 September 2004 MEETING DAVEY AND LEO FOR THE FIRST TIME.
oh man so tonite i went to his house w/my gurls and worshiped jesus. it was a great feeling! - the message was on boldness. after that we all went up to colies room to get our game of nertz on. we started to play but in the middle of our game, we were interrupted by the dominos delivery guy with our pizza that we ordered..so it was break time!! we were starvin (well i was atleast). we were chowin down on pizza when we were once again interrupted by some boyz!! dave and leo stopped by. oh man crazy crazy...we decided that we were gonna play euchre after our game of nertz. so we finished our pizza..and decided to skip finishing nertz and just play euchre. well amy and i didnt know how to play so stac and colie started to teach us. we were really confused but sorta got the hang of it. then leo came back to play. we played around for a lil bit just practicing and tryin to get a hang of the game..well then we got bored so we taught leo how to play nertz. oh man it was tons of fun. we all were laughin so hard all nite..it was wonderful! definitely an ab workout nite...which we need to have every nite!! we never really did finish the game..it was gettin late and we were all gettin tired and frustrated and didnt really care bout the game anymore. so we quit..and colie won. it was a lot of fun..we definitely need to do this kind of stuff all the time!! i love my gurlys!!!!!! =D
10 September 2004 PSYCHIATRIST GAME
so last nite was the best! i ended up goin over to meet the gurlz at stacie's apt for a nite of games...mind u, this whole nite started after 11pm. they were just on their way out to make a walmart/burger king run. so nicole, stac, amy and i hopped in the car and went to walmart to pick up a few things. on the way, stac called several friends and told them to meet us at her apt in like 20 mins. but when we were in walmart, leo called my cell and asked wut we were up to. he wanted to join in on the game playing but the only thing was that he was on duty that nite and couldnt leave his building. so we scrapped the whole playing games at stacies and moved it back to colies room. stac called up the other friends and told them to now meet us at lcn instead. then we headed to bk which was closed. so we went to mickey d's instead. colie dropped stac and i off at stacies apt while her and amy went back to their room. stac and i grabbed all the food and games and jumped in my car. we headed to lcn and told jillian and ken to come on over. we ate our food and then we all headed down to the lounge to play catch phrase. played a couple games and then jillian and ken left around 1:15am. as soon as they left we caught leo roaming the halls so we told him to come on over. so the 5 of us went back to the room and started to get our game of nertz on. oh baby! guess who won again!???? MEEE!! thats right..i told u guys i was SO READY to kick butt! and that was even with them all messing w/my cards..CHEATING..taking all the aces out and WHO still won that round!?!!! AMAZING.. thats wut ya'll get for cheating! the look on everyones face when i yelled nertz was priceless tho b/c i didnt even know u guys had taken out all of my aces..i was just flying, haha. u all were amazed. good times. after our long game of nertz we decided to play outburst. stacie and i vs. amy, nicole and leo. and yes yes once again stacie and i won! man, we're good. then we decided to play detective..which i had never played before. leo was the detective..oh it was great fun. after that..like at 3:30am ..no no we didnt decide to go to bed...we decided to go back down to the lounge where the nice big comfy chairs are and play psychiatrist. we played several rounds of that. it was a lot of fun. (LEO: soo steph.. do u like to wear clothes?? ME: ummmmmm...*hesitant*..no..) NUDEY, NUDEY! we all love to HANG out, LOL!! oh baby...wut wonderful memories yet once again. i think it was around 6:15 that we all decided it was probably a lil past our bedtimes. so stac and i walked out to the parking lot together and on the way down realized...oh no we are gonna get tickets b/c u arent sposed to be parked in L lot from 3-6am. we were praying they didnt ticket us. so we approached our cars slowly.......closer...closer....and BAM!!!!! tickets waitin for us in our windshield. MAN!!! that sux! oh well...the nite was totally worth it tho. and besides, im makin colie pay for mine anyways..and if for some reason she doesnt lol, then im makin leo da RA take care of it for me..u kno, get it cleared w/the cops. hes got the hook up..right?? lol so yeah on my way home...the SUN was RISING!! it was a beautiful sunrise... i got home to the sound of my brothers alarm clock going off repeatedly for a long long long time. i laid in bed..it was almost 7am now..and my room is getting brighter and brighter. hmm sumthin def wrong w/this picture. dang was i tired..i was out in a min.
23 September 2004 TrAgEdY... RIP CHI CHI'S
so i have heard rumors several weeks ago that chi chis was goin out of business b/c outback bought them out. well....the rumor is true. last nite, colie, stacie and i went to the christian book store and on the way i started screaming.."oh my gosh, oh my gosh its true!! look at chichis!!!" the parking lot was deserted..not a car in sight. so we drove up to the door and saw a sign. colie and i ran out of the car as fast as we could and read the sign.."We are no longer open for business. thank you for your patronage." my heart melted..i wanted to cry right there, lol. how TERRIBLE..for real..no one will ever understand..chi chis is like where i grew up...i used to go several times a month w/my family..and last year it wasnt unusual that i was going several times a WEEK...with friends. ugh..it really made me sad. so we have decided that chi chis is now considered a swear word..and we will no longer be talking about that place... =( =( but dave says that the chi chis in midland is still open so we can go there...so that is reassuring to me, lol. oh and the worst thing is when ppl tell me...theres always don pablos!....HECKKK NO. there will never be another mexican restaurant as good as chi chis..never. dont even try to compare it w/any other mexican place, lol. whew..okay im done. just had to get that off my chest. now u all know how strong i feel about chi chis..ohh and their seafood enchiladas... =( for real i want to cry lol those were my FAVORITE. thats wut i got EVERY time..and their fried icecream...AHHHHH. someone take me to chi chis in midland now before i go insane!!!! =p
06 October 2004 STACIE AND DAVEY BREAK-UP
we all went down to student life to see dave and of course stac left not even 2 min later lol. stac - ur really not impressing dave by standin him up all the time..did u 2 even go on ur date ever!?? goodness gurl! i'll hafta start puttin in good words for u, b/c i think hes startin to wonder bout u. haha im just messin =p so then colie and i stayed and chilled w/dave most of the nite. we played guitar..leo stopped by ...aaron and syd stopped by so we were talin to aaron for awhile while he played guitar. then dave finally took us in the back room (oh baby) and sang us some songs that he wrote...which were really good! =) im jealous of people that have the talents i wish i had.. lol. but hes awesome and so were his songs, im very proud! then colie left around 1am and i was going to as well, but then dave said he'd help me w/my spanish so i stayed til 2am workin on hw and then we departed and went our separate ways!

after work i went over to stacies apt to hang out w/my gurlz. sarah, colie, stac, and i were supposed to play games. well sarah ended up falling asleep in the other room. we invited leo over but he wasnt up for games tonite. stac was on the phone with trish for like a half hour. colie and i were gettin so impatient so we made her hang up, lol. then we sat and decided wut we wanted to do. none of us were really in the mood to play games anymore. we had so many crazy ideas...like, running around campus naked...driving to west branch and back for the fun of it...workin the corners of bay and tittabawassee to see who could get the most money..lol oh dear lord help us all. atleast we all got a kick out of it. it kept us entertained for 10 minutes atleast. we ended up deciding on going to the texan to eat b/c colie said they were open 24 hrs. well we drove past and they were closed so we had to find a different place to eat. we were all disappointed. we were in the mood for mexican but there were no mexican restaurants open. there werent many restauarants open, being that it was 12:45pm. we drove by tgifriday's and started screaming when the sign said open til 2am. we were soooo excited. so the host sat us and he proceeded to tell us that they were only open til 1am. so it was the bar that was open til 2am. we felt really bad b/c we didnt want to just sit down to eat 10 min before they closed. so we made sure it was okay w/the waitress that we came in and she said it was not a problem. there were actually several other tables in there anyways. i ended up gettin nachos..they were pretty good. all in all we had a fun time at tgifridays. after we ate we went back to stacie's apt and sat and talked for awhile which was really nice. then we were all gettin tired so i decided it was time for me to leave.
now its time for this lil gurl to get in bed. hopefully dave (the scary maintenance dude) isnt in my bed waiting for me. LOL. watch out stac....

FRIDAY
*stac calls me in the morning to tell me to pick her up in midland and that we would just leave from trish's/troy and heather's house. i was not happy about this lol b/c i knew i would get lost finding their house..but i just listened patiently to stacies directions and was very grumpy w/her,lol. at the time i would have much rather met with the whole svsu group on campus and all leave together and follow each other down..
*i left my apt around 3:20 and i missed a road gettin to trish's place. i called stac and started freakin out (she did too but didnt let me know) but i quick got my stuff together and found the right road i was supposed to be on ..which is amazing b/c there were a lot of one way roads, man im good.
*picked stac up and we were on our way
*stac packed us sandwhiches but didnt have any drinks so we were hoping a gas station would be on the way to 10, b/c i was not goin out of my way to stop - i did not want to get us lost, lol. i am horrible at directions and i hate driving in places im not familiar with.
*we found a shell station right before 10 so we loaded up on the drinks and munchies. wow we were super super hyper this whole trip down
*we made awesome time and got to spring hill a little after 5pm - yep u could say we were the first ones there. we took a pic by the 12 mph road sign..we thought it was hilarious. we had many little adventures on the way and at spring hill before anyone else got there.
*slowly, other fellow svsu'ers started arriving and we all checked in at 6pm. we signed up to be in "the peaks" cabins. the name of our cabin was the "hood." go figure. so that was a nice thing to play around w/the entire weekend. we all from da hood yah! say wut?! lol good times.
the small group of us svsu'ers that were signed up and registered unloaded all of our stuff in the cabins and then all went out to eat downtown. it was stac, matthew, andy, brooke, amanda, jamie, ivy, rebecca and i. it was pretty good. we then went back to the camp and had worship at 8.
*i got to see rebecca risley - that was wonderful. she ended up stayin in our cabin with us which was nice.
*we had pizza at 10 - bonded, made friends
*we started a spades tournament. the winning teams were rocky and i and heather and stacie ..so we had to play eachother but decided to leave that for saturday nite b/c it was really late and we all wanted to go to bed
SATURDAY
*went to several workshops that really taught me a lot
*during our freetime, jamie and i went on the zipline..mind you..saturday was EXTREMELY windy and freezing cold. the wind was sooo strong and then it started to rain off and on. well when jamie and i decided to do the zipline..we waited in line forever and had to get harnessed up and put our hard hats on. we were absolutely freezing. well when we got up to the platform, we decided to go big or stay home! we backed up all the way to the end of the platform and on the count of 3 we ran as fast as we could and jumped. it was so awesome. but by this time it was pouring and we were soaked and freezing. it was really fun tho. we went inside and got some hot chocolate to warm us up.
*okay so jamie is a gurl that goes to svsu but i just met her on friday. she is really really awesome and i am so glad we got to be really good friends on the trip. we have a lot of things in common and she is just wonderful! =) she may have found her prince charming on this trip...hehehee shes so cute.
*we listened to speakers, had worship times, lunches, dinners, etc.
*at the end of the nite, we watched a lot of people get baptized in the pool - it was a really cool experience
*we got our game of spades on and heather and stac won. then we played euchre and troy took heather's place. it was fun
*i was super tired and exhausted all day long so i told everyone i was goin to bed. they were all playing mafia but i headed back w/ash, sarah and jilian.
*i layed on ashley's bunk w/her for awhile and we just talked and read the bible together and did a devo. it was really nice, but we were both exhausted.
*went to bed

so i dropped stac off at her apt and then i went to the one hour photo and took my 2 rolls of film in. one of the rolls was still from hawaii this summer so i couldnt wait to get it back

*called amber - left a voicemail
*called jenny - aw that gurl is so wonderful and strong. i am really scared for her tho and have been praying for her. tomorrow is the big day.. =/ i love her so much and hope everything goes well..
*called elijah - left a voicemail (kinda crazy..i only had 1 voicemail from this weekend and it was from him..)
and now i still have a lot more hw to do so im gonna keep pressin on
i had a great weekend - it was so nice to just get away from the norm. i really needed that 24/7 time with god and it felt so wonderful to just be around christians. i didnt make tons of friends but i did meet a lot of people and i definitely grew to know most of the svsu people that went and im really glad we all bonded so well. =)

so yesterday was the RELIENT K CONCERT
the concert was down in mt. clemens. dave drove nicole and i down there. it was fun - we jammed the whole way down and none of us are quite sure wut time we left b/c we had some places to stop in saginaw before we hit the road. on the way down we were really hungry. we kept missing all of the mcdonalds exits but then finally got off at an exit that had construction gallore. colie had to pee so bad and we were stuck in traffic forever - the worst part was that we could see the mcdonalds right in front of us! wowserz, this mcdonalds was the FANCIEST mcdonalds i have ever been to. we walked in and dave asked, "are u sure we're at mcdonalds?" lol it was funny. oh..dave thinks i am a piglet b/c i ordered a big n tasty, a 4 piece chicken nugget and a small frozen coke. now to me..that is NOT a lot at all! he seems to think otherwise. so i would like someone to please back me up. after we were done eatin, we hit the road and got to aaron's house a little after 6:30pm. the doors opened at 6:30 (so they said) but we just chilled at aaron's for a few minutes and then we all left for the concert. it was dave, nicole, me, aaron and his younger bro and sis - we all went to the emerald theater which is pretty close to his house..i dunno bout the whole "5 min away" tho, haha. =p
once we got to the emerald theater, we had to wait in a huge line that wrapped around the building - it was really cold out, and all of the kids there were little teeny-boppers. it was kind of funny. relient k's new cd came out yesterday and they were handing them out a the door, so that was cool!
we got inside and the first band, "the evan anthem" was playing. i thought they were just okay. then acetroubleshooter took the stage. the guys disappeared up front into the crowd and colie and i went upstairs on the balcony to watch - it was a pretty nice view. we could see dave and aaron crowd surfing down below - how..cute. then, right before relient k took the stage, aaron, dave, josh and kayla all found us on the balcony so they stood up there w/us to watch for awhile. then during relient k's performance, we all decided to go down in front. aaron went crowd surfing a few more times - just couldnt get enuf of it i guess! lol
all in all, it was a pretty good show. after the show, we all went to coney island for a quick bite to eat. this time..i got nachos and cheese and dave got this big salad with a lot of stuff on it. so he immediately starts pickin stuff off that he didnt want so i asked him if i could have all of his tomatoes and he then proceeded to make fun of me again for eating so much, lol (which again, to me..was nuthin!). its okay tho. i thought guys like gurls with big appetites..?? hmm... oh well! dave and kayla - wow..thats all i can say, lol. lil bit o' tension!
then we all went back to aaron's place and chilled for awhile. we watched the election and we were all rooting for bush except for dave. it was pretty close the whole time but then we decided to channel surf. we watched boy meets world and fresh prince! it was fun - we all discussed wut shows we used to watch as kids..and how we still watch them, hehe. and then dave wrote kayla an apology letter and wrote me a love letter (*blushes*). ha!
we finally left around 1am i think..the election was still far from being over. we had some good conversations on the way home, i thought so anywayz...so that was really nice..
got back to my apt around 3am - elections still werent over so i just went to bed.

08 November 2004 busy,busy,busy
*this morning ashley and i had a 15 min spanish presentation to do w/ 2 other gurls. i was freaking out b/c we only had 2 weeks to prepare this and we only went over it twice ..but we ended up kickin butt and doin awesome!! (atleast we all think so, lol - we havent been graded yet!) YO AMO LAS RANAS!!!
*ash got me an "I love JC" button - we both have them now and wore them all day! we are twins. i love u gurl =) its a GREAT day to be a....CHRISTIAN!!!!!!
*surprise surprise, today i went to the family christian bookstore..AGAIN. i got a shirt, another cool button, a book and a cool friend book for jenny ..so she has sumthin to read when shes lonely in detroit. =) i used my 20% off coupon that i printed 10 of...LOL..and guess wut! i finally got my 10 punches so they gave me a 25% off coupon for next time..and a new card with more punches! woohoo! how exciting is that! i know im excited!!!!
09 November 2004 SURPRISE VISIT FROM ASH AND COLIE!
so ash told me to buzz the outside door. her and colie showed up at my apt at midnight!! haha. and they showed up with beef stew and corn and a jar of pickles..our favorite!!! aww it was so wonderful. i felt super special. i LOVE when people just show up unexpectedly..and thats like one of the first times its happened in a LONGGG time..so i was very excited. i love u gurlz so much. u made my night. =)
things to remember about last nite:
* my fashion show and how everything looked terrible on me..haha!!
* all 3 of our heads in the sink crunching on our pickles with pickle juice running down our hands
* playing guitar and singing worship songs
*all of the chaos that went on in the beginning of the nite - i couldnt even have a 2 min conversation w/colie w/o ashley yelling and whining.."where is my pop!?? i cant find my pop!?!" when i finally got up, walked into my room..picked her pop up off my nightstand and threw it at her. lol
ohh fun times gurlz, fun times! i love ya both, thanx so much for makin my night and making me feel special =)

20 November 2004 SLUMBERLESS PARTY
so today i worked til 2:15 and then grabbed colie and went to walmart to get baking supplies for puppy chow. we also got some groovy retro accessories to wear to the lock in tonite. ;) then we went back to colies room and baked for a lil bit and invited stac to come join us, which she did - so that was really fun. i made quite the mess while baking...chocolate dripping down the walls and all over the floor..and then it came time for the powdered sugar, lol..well i guess u can just use ur imagination. ok ok it wasnt THAT bad but we did have quite the fun time and laughed like we've never laughed before. oh i love my gurlz. then i went back to my apt for a few hrs - took a nap and did some hw. i got to the church around 9:30pm and wandered around for a lil while, waiting for everyone to arrive. lets just say tonite was a wonderful nite. from worshiping to the talent show (how could we forget the lovely performance of sarah, beth and ashley). i was laughin so hard i had tears in my eyez..oh man i love u gurlz. and the amazing performances of colie and stacie..i seriously felt like ur mom sitting in the crowd b/c i was nervous for u guys and i was mouthing the entire song and oh it was just so wonderful..im so proud of u gurlz. i just wanted to be up there singing with u guyz. there were a lot of really good and funny performances. brent did a great job w/his song and elijah was great on the sax and everyone else, whew! awesome baby awesome. there was a coloring contest..which i won!!! YAY! i got a free cd..woohoo! =D and there was a scavenger hunt, obstacle course, card games, board games, food, euchre tourney..which colie and i were KICKING MAJOR BUTT..but we never got to finish it so we really dont know who the TRUE winners are..but yeah i am so proud of us..we beat 4 boys! woohoo =) exciting. i did the pie eating contest at 4am..wow..that was very interesting. i had a french silk pie while everyone else had cherry, raspberry, apple, peach, etc. i had whipcream all over my face. the best part was at the end when brent threw his pie in sarahs face..WOW. lol that was sumthin! so anywayz it was just an amazing time to be with friends and worship God. i had an awesome time tonite. stacie did such a great job planning and organizing this whole thing and with the help of so many others..this definitely wouldnt have been possible so i am just incredibly thankful for all of my friends ..that we were able to pull this off.
05 December 2004 wahhhhooo!
so tonite i went to the saginaw childrens zoo with ashley, colie and shelly. it was all decorated with christmas lights and we got to see the wolves, reindeer and the petting zoo animals. it was really exciting. i CANT WAIT to work there!! i just wanted to jump in all of the animal cages to play with the animals. i love christmas time!
ash, colie and i came back to my apt b/c they wanted to see my fireplace screensaver in the dark. and let me tell u..it was so awesome. i ended up downloading a new one! when they were sitting by the fire, lol, i went in the kitchen to get sumthin and then i came back and had my metal wire marshmallow stick with marshmallows on the end and put it right up to my computer. it was hilarious. u just had to be there. here we all are..sitting around my computer by my fireplace screensaver pretending to roast real marshmallows. and the fire even crackles and everything. it sounds just like a real fireplace. it is the next best thing to having the real deal! oh man...yeah so this is wut we do in our spare time..LOL. I LOVE US!!! =D
we took some crazy webcam pics. im sure this one will scare everyone but thats ok b/c thats me when im goofy. ;) its one of colies favorite faces lol. =)
we were hungry so we made cinnamon/carmel blizzards that tasted like pumpkin pie and kinda like mocha..if we had mocha flavor to add to it. it tasted like the carmel thing at java city. anywayz it was reallllllly good.
then we were hungry for some real food so i made steak. ash and i had stirfry while colie had a lil bit of steak and some spaghetti. MmMm muy delicioso!!! fantastico!
we decided to have a slumber party at my place tomorrow nite b/c we all want to play 007 on N64 b/c we all love that game and havent played it in forever. so i am super excited for tomorrow nite w/my gurlies. i love u gurlz so much and i dont know wut id do w/o u. u gurlz made my nite.

went to walmart w/colie and stacie. went back to stacies. watched some of the fca concerts. then went to the zoo and watched law and order w/aaron. then went w/colie to see dave at student life. i miss that boy and i miss his hugs so it was nice to see him last nite =). went home. went to bed.
went shopping w/ash tonite for janie (our lady we adopted for christmas). that was fun. we got some nice stuff but we have some more stuff that we need to pick up.
18 December 2004 REUNION WITH ASH IN WALMART
i met ash and her brothers at walmart around 1pm..and awww we were sooo excited to see each other. it felt like we hadnt seen each other in YEARS. u should have saw the smiles on our faces when we spotted each other in walmart..and how we ran into each others arms, LOL! oh man..crazyness.

i met ashley in town on monday morning and we did some shopping and then went and delivered our christmas gifts to janie (our adopted lady). i worked 5-12:30pm while ashley stayed at my apartment and chilled all nite. she was gonna go to brents and to frankenmuth but it started snowin like crazy around 4 so i told her to stay put and locked her in my apt, haha. =p
on tuesday we woke up and did some more shopping and then my party began. colie, stacie, shelly, amber, amanda, ashley and sarah all came over. it was very fun. we played games and talked all nite and made food and just bonded! lol. oh i love all of my gurlz. we stayed up til 6am talkin and then we fell asleep watchin princess diaries 2.
sarah barrett woke us up at 12:30pm and told us to hurry it up b/c ash and i were supposed to meet her at 1:30 to see "meet the fockers." so we all quick hurried and got ready and everyone left. ash and i met sarah at the theater. it was an awesome movie!!!!! we all loved it. i highly recommend it!

so i saw dave last tuesday after his house. i went to visit him at student life while he was playin ping pong. oh man, it was so great - dave i love ur new haircut and as soon as i saw u, i thought to myself, "wut a hottie!!" hehe, i miss u and it was nice to see u again, even if it was for 30 seconds =)
so the gurls and i have started workin out. we went to the gym one nite and played raquetball another nite. it feels so great to be in shape. i NEED to keep this schedule and not let it fade. i cant wait to start swimming again too.
thursday after my classes, i just stayed on campus. aaron came over to colie's room to play guitar w/me. sarah also came over. we went over some worship songs for a lil while. i was using my bro's guitar but it is SO hard to play b/c the strings are so far from the neck. turns out aaron has the exact same guitar (but he had his restructured so his strings arent a mile from the neck) he is really good so i was just frustrated the entire time. ugh. ash, colie, sarah and i went to ryder to work out. i called dave and talked to him for a lil while which was nice. =) then ash, colie and i went back to colie's room and leah came over. we all played cards and had our new years celebration...yes thats right..we celebrated new years on january 13th. we even counted down and watched the ball drop. if u are confused as to why we celebrated on the 13th, just ask one of us and we would gladly like to explain our story. we also stopped by and talked to leo. i miss that boy too so it was nice catchin up w/him...just like old times! =) then i stayed the nite at colie's and slept in her bed ;)
friday morning colie went to drive me to my car that was parked at the townhomes. it was soooo cold outside. her car doors were frozen shut and when we sat in the car, we couldnt see out any of the windows. so she grabbed her scraper and went to scrape the windshield, only to find that the ice was on the INSIDE of the car. it was soo bizzarre!! so she came back in the car and started scraping the inside of her car while i laughed hysterricallly as we were getting covered in snow. it was quite interesting. that is sumthin that has never happened before!!

went to colie's room and took a shower. then we kidnapped ash and got some stuff done around campus. dropped off our retreat forms, went to housing, went to the comp lab.
went to davids room, talked for a bit then decided to go to applebees. had a nice dinner and had some good convos. came back to colies room. he ran upstairs to grab his guitar and then serenaded us for the rest of the evening, lol. ;) aw it was wonderful! makes me wish i had awesome talent like that...but havin a good friend w/such a great talent is almost as wonderful! it was just the 3 of us in colie's room and we pretty much talked about music, sang, played guitar and were very musical the entire nite. it was super nice - i love mis amigos!!!

i went up to cedarville, michigan (in the UP) for the weekend w/ his house. it was a blast. eric, david, colie, ashley and i all crammed into ashley's car like sardines. it was wonderful..mostly b/c i was in the back w/the boys and could keep my eyes on my 2 ladies in front at all times ;) woohoo! hehe. the bridge was beautiful. i was so proud of ash for driving across it. the water was obviously frozen and just marvelous. it was beautiful and the sun was starting to set so it was just ahhhh, AMAZING. and i also spotted a rainbow. man, God is just wonderful!
after a long 3 1/2 hr drive, we finally found the place and registered outside from our cars which was different. we didnt exactly know where to go..so we came to a fork in the road and we all told ash to drive left..which ended up being a very large WALKING path..NOT a ROAD...LOL. so yeah..we quickly backed out of there and took the "right." it was hilarious. then we dropped off our stuff in the main lodge and then took the boys to their cabin across the lake.
God thing that happened that nite:
ashley lost her packet so we walked to her car really quick before worship to see if it was in there and it was not. so we were all bummed and started heading to worship anyways..well colie all of a sudden stops in the middle of the trail and says "wuts that??" - while looking on the ground. and mind u..it was dark out now and i looked really hard and was like "umm thats snow, theres nuthin there" well she bent down and picked up ashley's packet. this was like our 3rd time walkin down this trail and none of us saw it before. crazy... i think God threw it out of the sky!
the small groups were really cool. i liked it sooo much better this time w/o having designated leaders. it was just so much more natural and not so structured and planned out. the gurls were really cool.
i enjoyed bonding w/ the people from his house at svsu. i talked to tammy and beth a lot and i normally see them all the time at his house but never talk to them so that is really cool. i love goin on retreats b/c i feel i bond most w/the people that go to svsu that i see all the time but never talk to. so its really nice. i cant wait to go to his house on tuesday b/c we all have that special connection and bond now..it just feels so nice.

on the way home today we were spontaneous and saw the indian river exit sign and decided to go to the cross in the woods. ash and i shared some of our catholic roots w/the rest of the gang. it was really cool to go out there. ive never been there in the winter. then we stopped in west branch and ate at taco bell. then we went to my dads house for the fun of it. it was nice - i havent been home since christmas day. it was nice to see him and barb. showed the guys all of my dads guitars and toys. it was fun. i enjoyed it and i hope they all did as well! on the way home i was super tired but couldnt fall asleep - oh well.
now im home and yay yay yay...thats all i can really say.. ;) hehehhehehhe.. =) =) =) =D =D =D

watching IM soccer is definitely very fun. ash scored a goal tonite - WOOOOHOOOO, go ash! dave and leo's team (afternoon delight) is definitely kickin major butt. they are still undefeated i believe. those boys sure know how to play a game of soccer. GO DAVE!! i love watchin u play, i love ur facial expressions, u rock!! u are just so entertaining! hehehe i miss u but im glad i get to see u twice a week now! =)
13 March 2005 AVALON CONCERT
went to an avalon concert w/the gurlz. all i can say is that it was amazing. some Godly things def took place. for instance, colie, ash and i rode together and we sang a few random worship songs. well when we got to the concert, before avalon took the stage, the worship team came out and sang for awhile. so the whole place worshipped together and wut songs did we sing?....the ones colie ash and i sang on the way there! how crazy. there were a few we didnt know..but this one song we really got into.."god is good". well the crazy thing is...today i went to church w/my boy and wut song did they sing?? GOD IS GOOD!! aw it was so awesome =) but yeah the concert totally rocked. the spirit was def alive and the singing was phenomenal. we went to applebee's afterwards and ate. that was fun. then i came back to campus and visited my boy for a few min. then i went home. took a shower. went to bed.
25 March 2005 TENNESSEE
went to tennessee last weekend w/the gurlz. wut a long journey that was! crichton was in a super nice part of memphis. josh was awesome - treated us to lunch. mexican. not chi chi's but still good. they had chips and salsa =) on the way home we hit up lambert's, a southern restaurant. they yell "hot rolls!" and u stick ur hand out and they throw rolls at u. fun times.
weds nite after work i went over to colies room. then we went up to daves room and played euchre w/him and eric. *sigh* we lost. i think thats the first time ever. colie and i used to be the euchre champs. i havent played in MONTHS tho so i def think im gettin rusty. i'll be workin on that...
went to watch my boy play soccer last nite. they won both games.
27 March 2005 EASTER WITH ASH
last nite i drove up to west branch. i went to ashleys house and had cowboy hats for dinner! MMmmM they were muy delicioso! then we went to the easter vigil at holy family. i cant even remember the last time i went to the catholic church. all i can say is...it was SO weird. oh man..i have a total different feel for that church and the way things go on...
i got to ashleys around 1:30pm and her mom hid an easter basket for me! HOW WONDERFUL!! i havent gotten an easter basket since i was like 7. so this was super exciting for me. i got candles and everything! =) =) we then headed to her uncles toward clear lake. drove past heather's house. havent been there in YEARS. dinner was awesome. i was quite entertained the entire time w/her family and especially her lil baby cuzin, wut a cutey! =) we all went outside and hunted for easter eggs! that was great fun too. =)

11 September 2005 NORMANDY APTS
yesterday ash and i went over to kyle and jeremiah's apt to watch part of the game. there were tons of ppl there!..kyle, jeremiah, david, aubrey, brent, nicole and josh. we chilled with them for a little while and then went back to our apt. adam stopped by to hang out for a little while. that was nice =) my dad and stepmom also came by ...while i was making homemade candles. yes thats right, HOMEMADE! it seriously doesnt get any better than that! then ash and i made dinner...BBQ chicken on the grill!! along with rice, veggies, potatoes...MmM. honestly, dinner was lookin so good that i got my camera and took a picture of it! =) while i ate dinner, i watched the movie "ice princess"..it was so cute. then ash left me all alone and went to the movies w/leah (i didnt feel like going) and colie came over around 10:30pm or sumthin. then travis came over..and then my mom called. then travis left..ash went to bed..kyle called..so then colie and i decided to go over to kyle and jeremiahs around midnight. we ended up talkin to kyle til 3am which was just insane. came home..went to bed.
got up this morning around 9am and went to hopevale w/ash. we sat w/kyle and jeremiah...and met up with becky and carrie afterwards. i gave becky the raffi cd i made her..so she could look back at her childhood years and sing along to all the awesome songs we used to sing when we were kids! =D it was so exciting.
when we got home from church all of us gurlz decided to have a picnic. oh man, this was like the best idea EVER!! ash grilled hot dogs and then we took hot dogs, chips, snacks, apples, pb&j, pop, chocolate, etc to the courtyard and had a picnic outside on a blanket under a tree. it was soooo nice. it was ash, jaime, carrie, becky and me. then becky, ash and jaime just went swimming and i stayed here to do some laundry (5 loads of laundry that is..).
22 September 2005 ANN ARBOR TRIP WITH ASH TO SEE DAN
went w/ash down to ann arbor last saturday to see dan's condo...finally..after about a year! that was so fun. he took us to don pablos, putt putting and to coldstone. MmMm it was all soo good! fun times. ash and i tied for first place at putt putt. believe it or not, we both got 24 of the front and back..making it a tie for 48. my bb and i sure do rock. wut can i say, we were born winners ;) oh yeah..and dan whipped out his new guitar and sadly enuf, as he was playing, i had to break the news to him about a few dents i had discovered on the front. he was NOT happy was he ash?? lol..aw, i felt bad. especially for an $800 guitar! but it sure sounds awesome!
04 November 2005 RELIENT K CONCERT #2
amber came over today after class and we hit up all the thrift stores in the saginaw area, just like old times. it was the best. i got some sweet clothes..and a sweet belt. im afraid to say...u all might be a lil jealous ;) haha. then colie, amber and i headed to ferris for a nite of rockin out. we saw "over it", "rufio", "mxpx" and "relient k" in concert. it was tons of fun. we snuck our way to the very front, right next to the speakers so we were vibrating all nite...along with damaging our hearing. we met up with eric there which was super cool, but then we lost him in the mosh pit. i got my pic taken with the freakin crazy guitarist from rufio - i told the gurlz how hott i thought he was when he was up there playing and then when we snuck up to the front later..we could see everything behind the stage b/c we were more toward the side and he was coming out so i yelled to him and asked if hed come take a pic with me and of course he did! =) after the show was done we headed home and stopped at bk on the way home. food is good. especially after concerts. tradition for me is to get taco bell after every single concert..but we couldnt find one open. i survived. i just wanna let u all know that i freakin LOVE road trips. especially with my friends. the best part of the nite was the fact that the 3 of us were literally rockin' out and singing at the top of our lungs to nysnc's first cd...along with the backstreet boys first cd. none of us had listened to either of these cds since like 7th grade..when they came out and we all knew every single word to every song. it seriously is so amazing how awesome the human brain is ...and how much information it can retain. honestly. wow. that would be why i am a psych major. b/c i am fascinated with these sorts of things. yes, im a nerd, i know. but that is me. and u know thats why u love me. im also so scatterbrained in life right now. this entry is very random and not really in any sort of order..but hopefully u get the gist of the kind of nite i just had. its time for bed cuz i have a long day of work tomorrow. RoAr!
p.s. after seeing mxpx in concert, both colie and i agreed that we want to just ROCK OUT on the guitar. just go freakin crazy. seriously..i have so much energy built up inside of me right now that i feel like im gonna burst. and i just might. but i think if i were to plug my electric guitar in my amp right now, ash would freak. and so would my neighbors. so instead, im gonna try to contain myself..and go to bed. as hard as this may be.. lol

Last night was so great. Going to Don Pablos with the gurls and then all coming back to the house to sing and worship. Stac and I played guitars while Carrie played her violin. Something about being in a small group of your closest friends singing praise and worship songs just fills my heart with joy. =)
I love all 4 of you so much. If you had time to read these, I really hope you enjoyed them as much as i did. My time with you guys will always be cherished. <3 <3
