Short one
I still live, I had a whole post written up in my head about Firestarter by The Prodigy after hearing it this morning on the way to work, but 8 hours of work cut that to shreds.
Anyway, things are going alright, my birthday went well and we've already played Puerto Rico a few times since then. I still have to buy all my christmas presents as well as Chris' birthday gift/gifts.
I also applied for a Java programming course at Concordia, I think I've mentioned that before. Well in order to get into it I have to either do a bunch or pre-requisites or pass a test saying I know my shit. Well on Saturday I went down and did the test, the first three sections were a piece of cake but the C++ and XML ones I wasn't terribly confident about. I haven't done any actual C in over 5 years so some of the stuff I just had to guess, and the XML section went much deeper into XML rules and stuff than I've had to deal with at work so I had to make some guesses there.
Well, found out today I passed all 5 sections so I can skip all the crappy pre-reqs. Now I just have to figure out why they couldn't charge my credit card, there's plenty of room on it still.
