Relay for Life info
Well, in my poll, it was a tie between The Bunny Patrol and Team Bliss.
I got an email from one of the coordinators, and she let me know that the theme this year is "The Colors of Cancer."
Personally, I think it's terrible...but they're referring to the different ribbon colors, I guess. Each team is supposed to pick a cancer to provide education about at the event. I am leaning toward lung cancer, for obvious reasons.
Anyway, with colors being the theme, I thought that Team Bliss would work really well--we can have a tie-dye, hippy theme!
Thoughts?
Also, if you think you want to participate, but don't think you would be available to walk on the day of, that's OK! There will be a lot of fundraising before the event, and you can still raise money, even if you're not going to walk.
Now, that being said, for those of you who will be at Renn Faire, I am planning on bringing the van over to pick up anyone who wants to walk for an hour or two, then driving them back out to the Faire, so keep that in mind! :)
