Dear Senator Schumer,
Shame on you and the entire Congress for allowing torture by U.S. officials and U.S. contractors. I am outraged that acts of torture have been committed by my fellow citizens, officials and contractors, however I am even more outraged that the Congress allows for the possibility of future torture by not doing anything regarding the official authorization of torture by the Executive Branch.
I'm demanding that you do everything you can to stop this possibility. Torture is wrong. The United States should never approve of torture or allow officials, military officers or contractors to perform torture or any act defined as torture by the United Nations. I'm asking you to act now to assure that torture is never legal or quasi legal for United States officials, contractors or curious scientists .
