Things that go bump in the night!
Last night Sam & I went to see Ghost Stories at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith and can certainly recommend it. Andy Nyman (man behind Derren Brown’s shows) and Jeremy Dyson (co-writer of the TV comedy-horror The League of Gentlemen) have teamed up to create an evening of chilling tales. The dark, eerie atmosphere was perfect for building up tension and intrigue. Andy Nyman was superb in the lead role, and surprisingly funny. Certainly a man of many talents! Horror fans will be delighted by several classic film references and appreciate the mood created by the sound, lighting and special effects.
I'll stop now though as the less you know in advance, the better!
If you do go along, enter the darkness, experience the feeling of dread...and enjoy the show. We certainly did!!
