Life: I Finally Watched Smallville
I had my television on a random channel last night while I was taking care of the kids and, what do ya know - Smallville comes on. I'm going to be completly honest with you, I've never been much of a Superman fan. I've tried to get into it, but it just doesn't really appeal to me. Yet, I managed to sit through 2 back to back episodes. Why? Alessandro Juliani plays Dr. Emil what's-his-name. That's why! I got to see 3 whole minutes of AJ in a white lab coat playing Doctor! Priceless time and the highlight of my day! My crush on this guy just seems to grow more ridiculous!
Aside from the great and talented AJ, the only other thing that really made the show enjoyable for me was the Toy Bomber. I LIKE HIM!! LOL! If I could get into the whole Superman craze, he would definatly be my favorite villian! The guy that portrays him in Smallville pulls it off really well. He reminds me of Hugo in Lost... hell, it might be the same guy for all I know. I'm not the most observant person in the world when it comes to who plays in what unless I'm just a really big fan. So will I be watching further episodes? As much as I love AJ, I just can't say I'll go out of my way to watch. It's Superman.... I'm just not into Superman. Sorry AJ! =( However, I don't mind leaving the show on as background noise. I'll be able to hear when AJ does a scene and I will then be at full attention.. even if I don't know what the hell he's talking about. Sort of sad isn't it?
