I would honestly love to say no to this series of questions.  However there is an element of truth to that first one.  Not that I would want to live with them, however, if there was a way to keep a closer eye on the evil lawyer firm, then I think I'd jump at the chance

May I ask a question... I don't want to know much... just... how long have I known you? I'm trying to piece things together and I haven't gotten much out of Gil. He's told me there are somethings I'm better off not knowing.

So I've come to see. He's been a great help around. I keep having the feeling that I had been quite down before what ever happened did... and he's helped to keep my spirits up.
