A role Model
Sometimes I have to wonder about these questions. Who is my personal role model? I don't think I really have one. Sure there are some people I look up too and others I would love to meet, but there isn't someone that I could just say, 'Hey, I want to be just like you someday.'
I think there are probably two people I look up to the most though... The first being Eritha Franklin. That woman was the embodiment of soul music. She made the world come alive for me. Her voice is to me like giving water to a thirsty man. I still hope to someday meet her.
Then there is Angel, the vampire with a soul. Most would have staked themselves, knowing what they had done because they couldn't live with the guilt. Instead he choose to live, to make things right again. To become a champion. I don't know how many people would have wanted to do that.
