Ok, cue the doves
It's a miracle! I finally, after my first anniversary (though before my other first anniversary) the Canadian government has approved me to become a Canadian resident! Well, I will be approved provided I send them my passport before June 30th along with some pictures and wait for it to return. Still, within a month I should officially be able to use the colloquial 'eh?' So now things go from a perpetual waiting game to a frenzied rush to find a job and work out our future in Canada. You know, somehow I knew that when I finally gave in and hauled my computer back across the border and my boss finally secured a full-time position for me (starting this July) that only then would the universe deign to give me this huge blessing - when it could take away several smaller ones to compensate. Note that I am absolutely not complaining here. Hell, I may even buy a lottery ticket today just to see if I can cash in on that luck. (just one though... if it somehow mystically is luck influenced, one should be enough and any more is just wasting (more) money.)
