1. Akito's favorite memory of her mother was her fifth birthday. Her mother sat on the floor in Akito's nursery and they ate a cake together - the entire thing. Akito felt sick for the rest of the day, but she never forgot that her mother could be nice. That's why it hurt so much when she wasn't.
2. Akito sometimes hated the way she could feel the members of the Juunishi through their bond. She didn't want to know when they were happy or sad. 4. Akito keeps several kimonos hidden in her room - one of which she bought simply because it reminded her of her father - it had his favorite colors on it.
5. Akito did not intend to sleep with Kureno. It just felt so nice to have someone hold her because he wanted to - no curse forcing his love - that she lost herself in the moment. She didn't mean to hurt Shigure, but she never regretted her actions with Kureno.
