the KUMBIA QUEERS tonight in NYC (and tomorrow)
Friends and loved ones, tonight (Thursday) at the Delancey and tomorrow (Friday) at Studio B in Greenpoint, the Kumbia Queers are playing. The Kumbia Queers is the side project/collaboration of two iconic queer spanish language punk bands, Las Ultrasonicas (from Mexico City) and the She Devils (from Buenos Aires). They are danceable, fun, energetic, queer, punk cumbia. They play their own songs and cumbia covers of American pop songs from the eighties and nineties. They are truly excellent, and are not to be missed.
