The fic demon has captured me...
and is leading me down a strange path. It's not a Clint Barton/Hawkeye fic, even though I am completely obsessed with him and the actor Jeremy Renner at the moment. It's not a Bruce Banner/Hulk fic, even though I find the dichotomy of his character fascinating and briefly contemplated playing him in an LJ RP.
It's a Steve Rogers / Captain America fic. Even worse, it's a Steve Rogers fic featuring an OFC that I'm desperately trying to avoid making a Mary Sue. Because that would be bad. Very very bad. I don't even like Captain America, at least not as much as I lust after like Hawkeye.
This is very weird. And yet I have no one to blame except my wandering mind, which posed the question of what kind of girl would have the same type of "stuck in the 1940's" values that Captain America has. Whammo! - headcannon exploded all over the page.
Have handwritten 7 pages of notes, snippets of conversations and plot points. Don't know yet how much will actually be posted, but it's definitely getting written.
