Just discovered that Ray Bradbury has died, aged 91.
I have read shockingly little of his work, but I will always love him for the short story,
A Sound of Thunder. I discovered this short story in Higher English, and it's stayed with me.
I haven't read, tho I've always meant to, "Fahrenheit 451". I discovered this book at a young age (maybe 10 or so), when reading and book were the only things that really mattered, and the very concept of this book - the burning of books, and "Fahrenheit 451 - the temperature at which books burn" - has been marked indelibly upon my soul since then, despite my never having read it.
