Many thanks to you guys for your good vibes yesterday. Everything went very smoothly, and y'all are getting some credit for that.
It was a very long day at Loyola, because my blood work turned up anemic so I also had to get a transfusion (my first). That turned a six-hour session into ten+ hours, but hopefully will help with the fatigue I've been having for months now (and it was nice to have an explanation for feeling so easily tired when I wasn't on chemo, which was driving me crazy).
The new drugs, Gemzar (which sounds like something they sell on QVC) and Cisplatin, another platinum-based drug, gave me no evil reactions, a very good thing. I feel a little sick to my stomach today despite all the anti-nausea meds, and definitely doped-up, but other than that things are very good.
