Omigosh, when they handcuffed Susan I thought I was going to have to drive to Chicago and have a discussion with you! And to think that before I was so afraid it was Henry, and he was insane or good friend Robert, because I knew it couldn't be Jack... silly me. You made us care for all of them - even old Enid, a bit at the end, for her being such a irascible impossible old dame, that it was hard to think of any of them as being the murderer. Which, of course, is your job ; ) Well done!

Lorie this was so wonderful and a wicked good read. I don't read mysteries all that often anymore, because once you know the solution to the mystery there isn't all that much else there. But this story, with the unfolding of Ralph and Laurie's new relationship in the new world, a more equal relationship, I think, and so much better for them both, there is so much more to this story than just dear old Ellery's mystery (bless you both) and I am going to print it and 'illustrate' it and put your story in my library of slash.

Thank you so much for the writing of it and being so brave and generous as to share it with us and most of all, 'hallelujah' and 'thank you' because it is a damn fine story! I enjoyed the heck out of this!

((hugs))

Thank you!

Well, if that would get you to come to Chicago, I'll go back and change it so Susan's guilty...

Thank you so much for pushing me to post this and for all your lovely encouraging comments, B. *smooches you* I'm very glad it was fun for you.
