I missed Hero when people went today. Damnit, why do I do ironic things like look at the forums the exact time the movie starts? I thought it was the 6-something one. It was not..grr.
Although, I did see Garden State on Friday with Jeremy. From the trailer alone, it looked like the kind of chick flick I would love. It didn't dissapoint me, the only thing that did was the fact it played in BL only. Hopefully that will change soon. Anyway, I totally recommend it (to girls).
I finally finished a drawing today I've been working on for at least a month or more. It's too big to scan, so it won't be going on my
deviant art account for a while, though I'd love to add it.I really need a flatbed scanner, since most of my drawings nowadays are on bristol board. I wonder how much one of those would cost. I need a job.. but that's an angsty subject for me, considering I've been trying for months to get one, and could rant about it for hours. Anyway, back to the flatbed topic, that would make three things for my Christmas list (is it sad I've made one this early?) The other two things being WoW and a certian drawing book..by that girl..that I can never remember the exact name of.
The Wishbook came the other day. That made me smile. Despite the fact I wouldn't buy anything from it anymore, it's the childhood memories that make it good. My sister was reading it on the couch the other day, and I sat down beside her. It was like when we were little kids, and used to look at all the cool new toys, and look forward to Chrismas. Except, when my sister got up, she accidently smoked me in the face with the book.. it somehow seemed to cement the fact that I'm too old for reading the Wishbook.
Anyway that's all from me for now.
