This weekend has been really eventful.
I went over the course selection book carefully and chose my courses for grade 11. Grade 12 too, really. I wanted to take a lot of courses that I don't really have room for. Grade 12 should be a breeze, except for math. Also, I'm gonna try out co-op, though I'm really not sure where I'm gonna go yet. I'm thinking the heights, because it's where I learned the most about Photoshop, teaching, NSCAD, all that sort of stuff from Mr. Greenland, plus I love it there anyway. If not there then maybe something to do with graphic art, or illustration, though I don't think those sort of jobs are close by. I also picked Design 11, though I'm wondering if Jeremy teaches me enough about it I could challange for the credit..I doubt that will happen though.
This morning I went to church, as usual. I was asked to help with the little kid's euilogy upstairs. It was actually really fun. The kids were supposed to draw a picture of the disiples on a mountain, talking to a cloud (God). But, you really can't be that specific with kids. One little boy's mountain turned out to be a Jesus volcano, another little boy drew his house, one girl drew a Jesus (or possibly and angel) flying into the sun. But, soon they all saw the volcano picture and made little Jesus volcanos of their own. It was very cute.
I also had my first driving lesson today, in the Costco parking lot. It was fun, but scary too. I don't much like parking, but turns are fun. Dad kept saying things like 'we're not in London' or 'You just took out that guy's bumper', but luckily, they were invisible cars, so all was fun. It went pretty well for a first time, it's not so bad once you get used to it.
After the lesson we went to pick Mom up at Chapters. While I was there I got a couple of job applications. I really want a job this summer. I'm quite poor.We didn't spend very much time there, I picked up a magazine to help aid that stupid collage project, but that's about it.
That's about all for my news.
