Yeah, I will be doing the original-design system for them with only 1 pod. That will cost about 5000 for them. not including the computer system that they will have to buy and a 50 Amp power supply.
Anyway, that, when added to the other 9,000, will give 14 of 16,000 needed for the surgery.
So..as I have already mentioned.. I NEED those letters of reccomendation... and I am only a little frusterated with myself for not getting them long ago. On the otherhand, I keep trying to rationalize that "Its been seven years! How could they drag their feet given my history?" Well... then I get to thinking, these are doctors... they are in it for money... they will FIND an excuse to drag their feet and request visit after visit.
Yeah... I am a little frusterated. But despite the fact that I never was proactive to get those letters at a time it may have been easier to do so, my reasons I do not feel were entirely unjust given exactly how things played out. All available money I had for this went to electrolysis-- and when I made the tranition, it was almost a "now or never" thing in which I had to do it then or risk much more difficulty with the legal system in Houston. I am very glad I stuck with the electrolysis as a primary effort--- even though I _STILL_ need more... it at least got me to where I was able to live day to day without passability issues.
So, I am in search of a 'few good doctors' in preparation to be able to visit Montreal.
