Man.. I have got to know...

What is _really_ wrong with me.

Okay, usually I 'have an answer' for whats bugging me upstairs. __Usuaully__ I have some clue about the why regarding my moments of depression... .. and I am sorry... i am resorting to using that word since I guess its what fits it. I really dont consider myeslf usually 'depressed'. But please realize, thats from a more 'rational' sense rather than what todays brand of "stuff-your-face-with-10000-pills-to-turn-that-frown-upside-down" doctors. I suspect a lifestyle change is what I really need.... I remember a time in my life when I was very very happy. Though I realize, it was before I had any real responsibilities.

Anyway, today................. I slept. All F'ing day.

Well... except for working on my feet for the luskwood suit for about 2 hours, which need new bottoms and to be fixed up for AC. That kinda depressed me because 'fun foam' bottoms do NOT hold up, and I need a more robust rubber to make the soles with....... but where to find it. McMaster Carr sells the kind of crap i am thinking of, but i'd really like to have a piece to see before i spend what THEY want for it.

I started to go through the motions of getting things set up to RE-paint the body suit... and just, again, it felt like it was more effort than it was really worth.

Then, I browsed renaissence style garments for making an outfit for my Primal Visions fox mask. Nice stuff... did I mention I'm fat? ... that about sums it up.

Then, I looked at mini milling machines- I am thinking about cnc-izing one- but became overwhelmed by the options and money that MAY be involved. The one I want seems to have a JT33 quill taper, which is okay for a drill chuck, but if you want to use mini-collets, I dont see how that works.... the other versions of the same stinking mill cost twice as much. Of course I realize I could simply machine my own tooling for the stupd things, but thats more work. :/

*shrug*

As a final note.... here again my whole phase of interests is changing... I'm feeling more interested in working with machine tools and model railroading again... after having been away from it for the past year. *sigh* I suppose in another 3 months or so it will swing back to doing artwork like it did last year.
