There are several questionable "not read" books. Mostly Clarke and Niven. If I couldn't remember if I read it, I left it blank. But I've read a lot of stuff. I remember once reading the back of a book in the bookstore and thinking it sounded promising. Reading a bit into the book I discovered that I must have read a review of the book because it was all so familiar. Skipping through a bit I realized that the review I read was a truly epic take on this tale. In fact, it was book-length. Specifically...you already know the punchline. I decided this was not a book I needed to buy.
