i saw my caffiene addiction growing this week as bit torrent had finished downloading the first 2 seasons of six feet under. it all started on wednesday when i didn't have time to get my usual quad grande 1 pump soy white mocha (4 shots of espresso). i only had time to get gas at u.d.f. and i had only had four hours of sleep. behind the counter i saw a box of maximum strength no-dos though and so i purchased them.
i started taking just one before work, and it seemed amazing that i could sleep for four hours and be wide awake. yesterday i ended up throwing them in the dumpster. john and i went to brunch and the whole world natural restaurant for some scrambled tofu and i was exhausted. i drank two cups of coffee there, and when i got to work i took 3 no-dos. around 7 my heart started racing, i had tunnel vision and i could no longer formulate sentences. all in all it was just like that episode of saved by the bell when jessi gets addicted to speed and can't perform with her band hot fudge sunday.
