john left this morning for shenendoah national park, it's supposed to rain all weekend. i really want to go camping, i talked to nate the other day and he wants to set something up in may before he and beth go to asia. cook's forest would be swell i think.
i really wanted to come home for mother's day, as i missed easter and haven't been home since new years, but it appears that i'll be working and i doubt i could find someone to cover for me. my mom's gonna be totally upset. both of my grandma's are terribly sick and i'm wondering if this will be the last mother's day they'll be alive for. i shouldn't think this way
the apartment john and i looked at yesterday was bunk, the inside was really nice but the windows were way too small, we have until august so i'm still optomistic we'll find the perfect place.
some people from cheesecake are having a party tonight at some huge hall the rented out, it's supposed to be crazy. my friend doug is having a coming home party for erika's return from her job in the bahamas, i really just want to sit at home and paint, i got a huge canvas that i primed. i'm torn, but i think i'll just be a hermit tonight.
