Just so you know: it's hot here in Florida. Yes, I know, it's always been hot in Florida, but right now, it's like crazy hot.
Went to Universal today. My friend had an annual pass that was gonna expire soon, and wanted to go one more time. So we went. When I checked the weather in the park cause it looked like storm clouds moving in, the weather channel said it was 99 degrees out. Add in the humidity, and you get 109 degrees. Way too hot. Too hot for sane, native Floridians to spend the day at a theme park. Days like these are pool, water park or beach days. No lakes. Floridians don't swim in lakes, normally.
And, just so you know, no deodorant is made to stand up to 99 degrees with 85 percent humidity. I don't care what the advert says. It's gonna fail about 45 mins in to being outside in that heat. Forget about makeup, cause that's melt off about 1 and half in. And you're hair? Let's just say, pony tail is the only way to go. I had to buy a lovely over priced scrunchie to pony tail my short hair, cause it was just sad looking, and hot.
But, the weather did change, storms did start to come in, so the temp dropped, and it was rather pleasant. So we had a good day. It was crowded, but not crazily, except in the Harry Potter part. I need a shower, but it's all good.
