so in the taxi bus the other day was chatting to some lady. turns out her dog was shot by the Earl of some village and his gamekeeper, because it was on their land. then they took the collar off it, buried it and denied all knowledge of any dog on their land.

(Earl as in aristocracy, not as in Big Earl)

then they attempted to say that the dog was worry-ing sheep, so they had to shoot it.

...people do things differently here.
