Update: Am still alive
Hello y'all, not trampled to death after all, but still wet (it was raining more than cats and dogs, I think it was raining St-Bernards.) Verdict of Linkin Park on the Plains: Fucking awesome. I still can't believe I got to witness that. I sang so much I lost my voice about 3/4 of the way and I needed to shut up for a few songs to be able to sing the last few ones. They give an amazing show, and I have even more respect for the guys now, because it sounded just as good as on the CD. It just rocked so much. The 17 seconds scream on Given Up REALLY was 17 seconds long (we counted)! On a few songs we even sang lounder than the singer so that's always a good sign. Really am not dissapointed in my week, with Stone Temple Pilots and now Linkin Park that I got to see live.
For those who didn't know, we still have a show coming up and I think this time it was announced all over the world: we have Paul McCartney playing the Plains this Sunday. Get this: IT'S FREE. FREE!!! First come first serve. Since we can fit about 100 000 (and there was about that last night for LP), I am going to get there early. I still can't believe he'll give a show here. I am not going to miss that for ANYTHING.
