And not the violin strings kind.

We're very fortunate to have healthy cats. They get their check-ups, and other than one bout of GI distress (our fault cause we gave them crappy food once when we ran out of the good stuff) they have been vet-intervention-free.

But the other day Nimbus got into to the trash - this is a regular battle as he will force open doors and knock over cannisters to get to stuff he shouldn't have. And then he didn't eat or drink for two days and was starting to get listless.

So off the Kitty ER. Where has now been admitted for x-rays and IV's. *sigh* In the grand scheme of things, we have (luckily) had to spend almost no money on cat-health, other than investing in quality food. But as we put large chunks-o-change out for wedding stuff, a pricey vet bill could have been better timed.

Ah well. Can't do anything but...our devil-kitty is decidedly un-develish and that's just wrong.
