I did in fact get the position of MIT at my job. They had told me when they hired me that there was a possibility of me gaining the Manager in Training if the guy they had filling it now failed. Well, after a couple of weeks it came to Bruces' attention that Stephen was not doing a very good job and that it was mine if I wanted it. The reason that Bruce is so searching for an MIT is because he has cancer and will be needing to leave the store soon and is looking for a viable replacement. I could be that replacement. I could come into the store and within four months be G.M. Exciting. But on the other end you have the fact that the store is also in the process of being sold to a new owner. And it could be his idea to come in when he owns it (which could happen in the next 30-90 days) and fire all management and replace them. So my goal as of now is just to do the best damn job I know how to. Everyone there has told me how I am years ahead of Stephen and others who have tried it. I just hope I can hold onto it. I think a lot of it has to do with respect. I respect the workers there and I believe they have respect for me. So as a team we know we can succeed together.

On to greater and awesomer news! I have finally convinced James to let us leave Friday the 21st of November to go to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving day. I want to do this because I want to leave Friday evening and end up at Nonees and then spend Saturday at Nonee's and then take off on sunday for Oklahoma. Then spend Sunday evening and then Monday through Friday evening at Donna's and then Saturday with Nonee again. Then head home on Sunday. So those plans are set.

And to greatest and awesomest news! For my birthday James is buying me a car! A new car! We go tonight to get it. I'm so freakin' excited! You guys just don't know!
