The United States decided to play around with it's color-coded terror system, based on "Al Qaeda in Europe" (which is clearly not a US-targeted event) and the attacks on London because of the summit -- not because "someone is a symbol of freedom" -- it was in protest of a summit where Tony Blair was going to say "Let's stay in Iraq longer." So, the U.S. News is horrible at reporting things accurately (until some noteworthy American picks up on it, and then the stories change, slightly but mostly re-painting the false paint thrown down in the first moments).

So, the paint color changed again. Why don't they just include it in our weather forecasts? Get to sprinkle some more terms onto the easily-panicked Americans.

"And today, the high should be about 68, partly cloudy, with a light chance of terror."
