That's really the heart of Time Lord Victorious, isn't it? I think it really would have been brave if RTD had gone there. But he didn't, and I'm so glad you did!

You've really nailed it here. TLV is selfish and thoughtless and utterly self-serving. He's been pushed to the brink of his sanity and now he's broken, and reckless and lonely - a very dangerous combination.
